INTRODUCTION:
1.1 Foreword:
The hydraulic crawler crane HS 855 HD with Litronic-control is setting new standards in excavator
manufacture.
• The basic machine
– has been developed for continuous operation in tough building-site conditions,
– has been conceived around the modular design,
– allows versatile combinations and mounting of accessories in order that the crawler crane is in
optimal operating configuration to suit every application.
• A higher degree of cost-effectiveness and economy is thus guaranteed for the user, as the number
of machines can be kept to a minimum.
• The Litronic-control combines the advantages of the most up-to-date control technology with the
hydraulic power transmission. Functions such as electronic engine speed sensing, energy-saving
pressure compensation, extensive diagnosis possibilities as well as automated procedures and
operation data recording are thus possible.
- Specific advantages over the previous model include, among others, the modular rear ballast, the
self-loading / self-erection system as well as the quicker and more effective Litronic steering.
On our own behalf - The Liebherr name does not only represent products and performances, but has also become
synonymous with ideas and innovations. For progress that has already been proven in the market.
We are continuously expanding and improving our already extensive range of technical products and
performances with great vigour. For this reason, constant collaboration and swapping of experiences
with our customers and business partners throughout the world is prerequisite. We are therefore
grateful for all proposals and every improvement suggestion.
