4 Mount the steering chain and adjust the slack according to the picture 48

5 Pull the bearing off the drive shaft with tool 08-13022 50
6 Check the bearing shims for damage If they are damaged by the bearing tool measure the total 50
7 Remove the seal ring from the drive shaft 50

1 Place the drive shaft outer bearing in the gear housing 51
2 Press the new seal ring in place in the gear housing Be careful when pressing it in place so 51
3 Place the shaft bearing shims on the drive shaft, having the same total thickness as the origi 51
4 Press the drive shaft , with shims, into the gear housing/ shaft bearing Check that the splin 51
5 Place the spacer ring on to the drive shaft end and fit the shaft nut Always use a new nut T 51
6 Before fitting the lower cover, change the O-ring Make sure that it is not damaged when fitte 51
