INTRODUCTION
- These instructions describe the safe and time-saving work sequence for the machine-side installation of the Autopilot. A mid-set cylinder on the steering axle is essential for supplementary kit part no. 067 107.1. Two cylinders on the existing
- steering axle is valid for supplementary kit part no. 067 106.0. The followingmachines can be retrofitted: Forage harvester JAGUAR 900–830 starting from machine no. 49200011. The standard mounting time is approx. 4.5 hours for the
- supplementary kit parts no. 067 107.0 and approx. 5 hours for supplementary kit part no. 067 106.0. See page 4.1 for the shipping package. Important notes, such as e. g. the chapter »Safety Rules« or the procedure when carrying out electrical welding from the current operating instructions. When possible refer to assembly steps from the current repair manual.
General information
IMPORTANT
- The instructions contained in this manual should be carefully read and observed by all persons who are concerned with the operation, maintenance and inspection of this machine/ front attachment in order to prevent accidents. Especially the »Safety Rules« in the operator’s manual should be read with the utmost care and adhered to.
- In addition, please also observe the accident prevention regulations that apply for your own country. Before commencing with the job, ensure that all the tools and service aids are available. Compare existing machine type/front attachment type with the list in the chapter »Shipping Package« and the parts kit supplied. The specification of the components, e.g. bolts, is shown on the shipping package.
- The shipping package shows the position number (pos. no.) of the components. Parts such as nuts and contact washers do not have a position number but belong to the bolt listed above which does have a position number. Additional part specifications are the part no., description, measurements, DIN and the quantity.
- In order to help with the assembly, existing components in the instructions are identified with letters, whereas new parts have been identified with a number (position number). Texts and pictures apply, in general, to all machine types covered by this book and the information given applies equally, except where reference is made to a particular model in captions to the pictures or in the main text.
- Technical data, dimensions and weights are given as an indication only. CLAAS reserve the right to make changes subsequently as technical developments continue. Responsibility for errors or omissions not accepted. Front, rear, right and left refer to the direction of forward travel.
