General information
Introduction
- The Bucyrus 25M3 Continuous Miner is an electrically powered, drum type, radio remote controlled miner. Before operating the machine for the first time, all personnel who are involved in the operation of the machine must be fully trained in the systems and the incorporated safety requirements.
- Only personnel operating the machine must be at or near the machine while the machine is operating. Any person wishing to enter the area of the operating machine must do so in accordance with site safety procedures governing such activities. Before using the remote control system for the first time, you must read and understand the operating instructions carefully
- This section outlines safety precautions and procedures that must be complied with to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Bucyrus 25M3 Continuous Miner.
