ZETOR:
- This Operator’s Manual will help you to become familiar with the operation and maintenance of your new model of
the PROXIMA POWER series 2011. - Although many of you have rich experience with the operation of other tractors, please, read the information contained in this Operator’s Manual very carefully.
- In the Manual you will find a lot of new information and get a perfect overview of how to use the tractor with maximum efficiency during various kinds of work.
- If you observe the rules of tractor operation and maintenance and driving safety, your new tractor will become your
reliable and long-term friend.
GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS:
- The tractor should only be operated by a trained individual who possesses a valid driving license and is thoroughly familiar with the operation and safety rules.
- In addition to the safety instructions provided in the Operator’s Manual, it is mandatory to adhere to the general safety and traffic rules of the country where the tractor is being used.
PROPER CLOTHING:
- Avoid wearing loose clothing and ensure that long hair is secured and not free-flying.
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (such as working boots, gloves, etc.) that is prescribed for the specific work being performed.
STARTING THE ENGINE:
- Do not attempt to start the engine by driving the tractor downhill.
- Starting the engine by towing the tractor with another tractor is strictly prohibited.
- Only start the engine from the driver’s seat with the shift lever and reversing lever in the neutral position. Ensure that the Power Take-Off (PTO) is switched off and the clutch pedal is depressed. Starting the engine by means of short-circuiting starter terminals can pose a life-threatening hazard.
- Confirm that the key in the switch box is positioned in the “I” position.
- When preheating the engine using an electric heater, first connect the supply cable to the heater and then connect the heater to the mains. Upon completion of the preheating process, disconnect the heater from the mains before disconnecting the supply cable.
