ZETOR:
- This Operator’s Manual will help you to become familiar with the operation and maintenance of your new tractor.
- Although many of you have rich experience with the operation of other tractors, please, read the information contained in this Operator’s Manual very carefully.

- If you observe the rules of tractor operation and maintenance and driving safety, your new tractor will become your
reliable and long-term friend.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USERS:
General Safety Regulations:
- The tractor should only be operated by a trained person with a valid driving license who has a thorough understanding of the operation and safety rules.
- In addition to the safety instructions mentioned in the Operator’s Manual, it is mandatory to comply with the applicable safety and traffic rules of the country where the tractor is used.
Proper Clothing:
- Avoid wearing loose clothing and keep long hair securely tied.
- Use appropriate prescribed personal protective equipment such as working boots, gloves, etc., during work.
Starting the Engine:
- Do not start the engine by driving the tractor downhill.
- Starting the engine by towing the tractor with another tractor is not allowed.
- Start the engine only from the driver’s seat with the shift lever and reversing lever in the neutral position, the PTO switched off, and the clutch pedal depressed. Starting the engine by means of short-circuiting starter terminals can be life-threatening.
- Ensure that the key in the switch box is in the “I” position.
- When preheating the engine with an electric heater, first connect the supply cable to the heater and then plug the heater into the mains. After preheating, disconnect the heater from the mains.
Driving Operation:
- Regularly inspect the hoses of the hydrostatic steering, brakes, and fuel system. If any signs of damage are found, such as cracks on the hose surface, loosening of hose connections, or mechanical damage, replace the damaged hoses immediately. Hoses with indicated service life must be replaced promptly after the specified period.
- When driving on roads with trailers and tools, connect the brake pedals with a latch.
- Ensure that the brakes and steering are always in perfect condition.
- It is prohibited to drive downhill without an engaged gear.
- Switching the reversing lever at a speed over 10 km/h is not allowed.
- Exercise special caution when driving on slopes, muddy, sandy, icy, or uneven terrain.
