General notes on care and maintenance:
Regular maintenance and care of the crane increases its service life and maintains readiness for service.
Krupp Mobilkrane GmbH only guarantees the truck crane if the following conditions have been met:
– proper use
– prescribed maintenance and care
– professional repair work
Numerous defects and failures are causes by improper maintenance, such as:
– lack of oil, grease or antifreeze
– dirt
– rope damage
– defective emergency limit switch or safe load indicator (SU)
– defects in hydraulic system, hose damage or loose screw connections
– defective brakes
– defective tyres or wheel rims
For the safety of yourself and others carry out care and maintenance work carefully and within the
specified intervals. Never postpone maintenance or repair work which is due. The work must only be
carried out by qualified personnel.
The work required before a longer inoperational period serves to maintain operational safety and readiness
for service of your truck crane. Instructions for any protective measures which may be required
for engine and gear unit can be found in the respective operating instructions.
