About these operating instructions
Validity of these operating instructions:
These Operating instructions apply to the lattice extension of which the serial number is identical to that on the cover sheet. The designation of the lattice extensions àIdentification, p. 2 – 4. For the operation of the truck crane with lattice extension, the Operating instructions supplied with the truck crane also apply.
Prerequisites for assembly and operation
These lattice extensions may only be operated on truck cranes with the same serial number as that of the lattice extensions.
1.2 Basic safety instructions
Safety instructions:
- The operation of the GMK 4100/4100-L/5095 with one of the lattice extensions described in these operating instructions is subject to:
– All the safety instructions contained in the operating instructions supplied with the truck crane and
– All of the following safety instructions - Secure the pins both in the connecting points and in the holders always with retaining pins to prevent unsecured pins from coming loose, falling down and causing injuries.
- Observe the centre of gravity information for slinging and use suitable slinging material. In this way, you can prevent attached sections from slipping out, falling down and causing injury during the installation or removal.
