FOREWORD:

• The purpose of this Manual is to provide the Service Stations with the basic information to accurately dismantle, overhaul. reassemble, repair and tune any of the 900 SD “DARMAH” DUCATI model, in the most efficient manner possible.
• The detailed description of all the required operations is supported with a series of photographs, drawings, diagrams and tables, all of which have been designed to help the mechanic in the repair shop.
  All authorized DUCATI Service Stations are staffed by skillful and trained mechanics who are equipped with all the necess- ary tools, which guarantee satisfactory repairs.
• Defective or worn-out parts will be replaced by Original Factory spare parts supplied by DUCATI MECCANICA. Only Genuine DUCATI replacement parts should be used; these are manu- factured to close tolerances and can be used with confidence as they are entirely interchangeable with the parts used in the assembly and construction of all standard DUCATI motor cycles
