FOREWORD:
This manual is a service manual for Type M5H series manual transmission.
Type MSH series manual transmission has been given a new model number as Type SHA transmission mounted on the Sirion is also mounted on the new Cuore and new Move this time.
This service manual has been compiled and published by adding changes in detailed specifications to the already-published service manual for Type 5HA manual transmission.
For the Sirion, Cuore and Move produced in and after October, 1998, refer to this manual. For the Sirion produced before September, 1998, refer to the service manual (No. 9724) for Type 5HA manual transmission that has been already published.
NOTE:
The manual transmission type of the Sirion remains unchanged, i.e. Type 5HA.
In this service manual, the entire portion is divided into two sections. (MANUAL TRANS- MISSION & CLUTCH)
All information used in this manual was in effect at the time when printed.
