FOREWORD :
- Before you start to use this truck it is important that you have read and understand the entire contents of the entire Operatorโs Manual to be able to use the truck in a safe and efficient manner.
- This Operatorโs Manual contains information on how you should use the truck, safety regulations and how to keep the truck in a safe condition by following daily service routines.
- Only personnel that have been trained as a truck operator, for this type of truck, are permitted to use this truck.
- It is your employerโs responsibility to ensure that you have sufficient knowledge and training of how to use your truck safely. Contact your supervisor if you feel unsure how to use this truck.
- Always follow the warnings given in this Operatorโs Manual and on the truck to avoid accidents and incidents from occurring.
General safety regulations:
- ย Always carry out the daily service checks before the truck is used. The working order of all safety equipment, guards and safety switches must be checked before you use the truck. Such safety equipment must not be disengaged, removed or modified.
- ย The battery must be properly secured in its compartment. The battery shall have a weight that corresponds with the value stated on the truckโs data plate.
- The truck must not be used if it is damaged or has faults that affect safety or its safe use. The truck may not be used if it has been repaired, modified or adjusted unless it has been checked and approved by personnel authorized by BT Prime-Mover.
